Puppies and nursing moms eat a lot of food.  Even while mom nurses her pups, around 4 weeks of age the pups are always hungry and are supplemented with blended puppy food and homemade formula.  There are times when a dog is injured and needs to get help right away.  This means making arrangements to have the dog flown to Thunder Bay from a remote community which often costs around 100.00 just for their flight.  Then you have your vet visit and vet bills to pay in order to help these amazing animals.  Sometimes there are also unexpected expenses such as injury or illness while the dogs are in rescue.  You try to avoid such things but there can be accidents.  Thunder Dog Rescue can not survive and help dogs without the generous donations of others that want to be able to help.

Thunder Dog Rescue needs funds in order to help desperate puppies and dogs,  to give them a chance when there is none.
